Breaching for Joy!

Posted by

I spent a lovely Sunday in June out with members of K & L Pods of the Southern Resident Orcas that reside in the San Juan Islands. We met up with the whales just south of Point Roberts (in Canadian waters). Since we had to travel so far from Anacortes, we only got to spend about 30 minutes with these lovely creatures! You can visit them too by going to www.islandadventures.com. I usually go out several times a year to photograph these amazing endangered whales. Keep Puget Sound clean, and hopefully the salmon population will come back to sustain the orca population!
